Mediation Fees
Full day rate: $4,000
Includes all advance preparation time (including pre-mediation phone conferences, administration, and review of briefs), unlimited time on the day of mediation, and reasonable post-mediation follow-up.
Half day rate: $2,200
Includes all advance preparation time (including pre-mediation phone conferences, administration, and review of briefs), up to four hours spent in mediation, and reasonable post-mediation follow-up.
Hourly rate beyond full day or half day minimums, or where the parties request substantial post-mediation follow-up: $400.
The mediation fee is generally divided between the parties, unless another arrangement is agreed to. There is no additional charge for assistance in bringing parties to the mediation, scheduling the mediation, and/or making arrangements for the mediation session.
There is no charge for travel time within the greater Los Angeles region. For mediations conducted outside of the Los Angeles area, any charges for travel time and costs incurred will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Mr. Paul is available to conduct mediations throughout California and the United States.
Payment is required in full fourteen (14) days before the scheduled mediation.
Cancellation policy: Any party requiring a change to a confirmed mediation date will be charged a $350.00 fee. Mediations cancelled or postponed within seven (7) days of the mediation date are subject to a charge of $750.00 of the deposit, unless another matter can be scheduled to fill the reserved date.
